Start in Huaraz – Altitude: 3,050 m above sea level

- Departure by tourist transport to the village of Pitec (at 3,850 m above sea level) – Journey time: approximately 1 hour.
- During the trek, you’ll cross Andean fields, Quechua communities, and enjoy views of the snow-capped Churup mountain.

- Hiking start: approximately 9:00 a.m.
- Duration: 2 to 2.5 hours of ascent.
