🗓 Day 1: Puno – Uros Islands – Amantaní (experiential night)

1. Pickup from your hotel in Puno
Our local guide will pick you up from your accommodation to transfer you to the port on Lake Titicaca.

2. Sail to the Uros Floating Islands
We begin the tour by boat to the floating islands. You will be welcomed by an Aymara community that preserves an ancestral way of life on platforms made of reeds. You’ll be able to visit their homes, learn to weave totora reeds, and, optionally, take a ride on a traditional raft.

3. Departure to Amantaní Island (approximately 3 hours)
The journey continues to Amantaní, an island steeped in spirituality and tradition. The journey allows you to observe the immensity of

and its high plateau landscape.

1:00 PM – Welcome by local families and traditional lunch

Upon arrival, your host families will warmly welcome you. You’ll have lunch with traditional dishes based on quinoa, potatoes, and trout, prepared without electricity and with ingredients from the island.

5. Hike to the Pachatata or Pachamama Temple
In the afternoon, we ascend to the ceremonial temples to enjoy the sunset. This is a place charged with Andean energy and tradition. The panoramic view of the lake is unforgettable.

6. Dinner and Cultural Evening
After dinner, the locals organize a small celebration where you can dress in traditional costumes and participate in traditional dances. Overnight stay at a homestay (basic but cozy service).

🗓 Day 2: Amantaní – Taquile Island – Puno

1. Homemade Breakfast and Farewell
Once again, we share a simple but nutritious breakfast and bid farewell to our hosts.

2. Sail to Taquile Island (approximately 1 hour)
We continue the journey to Taquile, famous for its handcrafted weaving, declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

3. Hike and Cultural Exploration
We climb along cobblestone paths while the guide explains the history, social organization, and cooperative system of the locals. We visit a main square where unique weavings are displayed and sold.

4. Lunch with a lake view
We’ll enjoy a typical lunch (trout or quinoa soup) in a family restaurant, accompanied by spectacular views of the lake.

5. Return by boat to Puno
We’ll descend to the port and begin the return trip by boat.

6. Arrival at the port of Puno and transfer to the hotel.
End of the tour.
