A la hora acordada, nuestro guía profesional te recogerá desde tu hospedaje en el centro histórico de Arequipa o en un punto de encuentro central. Comenzamos nuestra ruta a pie por las encantadoras calles de la “Ciudad Blanca”.

🏛️ Plaza de Armas de Arequipa

Iniciamos el recorrido en la Plaza de Armas, una de las más bellas del Perú, rodeada por elegantes portales coloniales y dominada por la majestuosa Catedral Basílica de Arequipa. Aquí, aprenderás sobre la fundación de la ciudad y su importancia histórica y religiosa.

🕍 Iglesia de la Compañía de Jesús

Luego, nos dirigiremos al complejo religioso de la Compañía de Jesús, joya del barroco mestizo. Visitaremos su iglesia, sus retablos ornamentados y la sorprendente Cúpula de San Ignacio, famosa por sus coloridos frescos.

🧱 Claustros de la Compañía

Continuamos hacia los Claustros de la Compañía, donde podrás admirar la arquitectura típica arequipeña construida en sillar, la piedra volcánica blanca que da nombre a la ciudad. Este espacio alberga tiendas artesanales y cafés encantadores.

🏰 Monasterio de Santa Catalina

El plato fuerte del recorrido es la visita guiada al impresionante Monasterio de Santa Catalina de Siena, un complejo religioso del siglo XVI que funcionó como ciudadela cerrada por casi 400 años. Recorremos sus calles internas, patios coloridos, antiguas celdas, cocina, lavandería y oratorios. Un lugar que transporta a otra época.

Finalizamos el tour con una caminata hasta uno de los miradores tradicionales del centro, como el Mirador de Yanahuara o el Mirador de Carmen Alto (según disponibilidad), desde donde se puede contemplar una espectacular vista panorámica del Misti y la campiña arequipeña.
